Connecting Conversations with Dr. Patty Pfeiffer

This month, we are excited to launch a new episode of Connecting Conversations, A UNC World View Podcast with Dr. Patty Pfeiffer, President of Wayne Community College. In this latest episode, UNC World View’s Director, Charlé LaMonica and Dr. Pfeiffer discuss the educational experiences inside and outside the classroom that shaped Dr. Pfeiffer into the leader she is today. The episode takes listeners along on Dr. Pfeiffer’s journey, from first-generation student and community college graduate to president of Wayne Community College; from parachute rigger and airborne paratrooper in the U.S. Army (which included “jumping out of perfectly good airplanes”) to nursing professor; and from Punxsutawney, PA to Korea and other places around the globe before coming home to Goldsboro, NC.
