UNC World View started off this year by continuing a conversation begun at the 2022 Community College Symposium: how to combat and prevent cybersecurity threats and how community colleges can best prepare students for careers in this critical industry.
Dave Chatterjee, the symposium’s keynote speaker and cybersecurity researcher at the University of Georgia and Duke University, invited UNC World View Director Charlé LaMonica and Piedmont Community College President Pamela Senegal onto his podcast, The Cybersecurity Readiness Podcast. In the February 15, 2023 episode, they discussed the impact that cybersecurity teams have on community colleges, including on student success and administrative functioning.
