UNC World View is heartbroken by the recent loss of students, educators, and community members because of the violent attacks in Uvalde, TX; Buffalo, NY; and across the United States this spring.
Schools and grocery stores are centers of community and nourishment of the mind and body. These places should be safe and secure places where children, educators, and administrators can gather to grow and develop and where people can come together to gather food to feed their families, make a recipe passed down for generations, or celebrate an upcoming milestone.
World View extends our support to educators, administrators, and school staff as they, themselves, process these tragic events and as they help students do so.
