World View is committed to ensuring accessibility to our programs for all North Carolina K-12 and community college educators and is offering scholarships to four educators to attend a March seminar of their choosing.
The 2018 James L. Peacock Scholarship will be presented to one (1) K-12 or community college educator who has attended a World View professional development program during the 2016-17 or 2017-18 academic years and has demonstrated a commitment to bringing the world to North Carolina students. Past program participation can include attendance at a symposium, seminar, workshop, online course, leadership program or study visit abroad.
Also in Spring 2018, World View will offer two (2) additional scholarships to North Carolina K-12 or community college educators to attend a World View March 2018 seminar of their choice. The following spring seminars will be offered:
March 20-21: Building Stronger Bridges: Cultural Respect and Equity in the Classroom
March 21-22: East Asia: Traditions, Trends and Transformations
