UNC World View participant Consuelo Maria Johnson has received the Governor’s Educator Discovery Award. The award provides a $1,000 stipend to support a professional development program of each recipient’s choosing. Johnson exemplifies a dedication to global education, in and out of the classroom. She attended UNC World View Study Visits to Costa Rica and Moldova in 2019 as well as the 2018 Global Education Summit, the 2019 Latin American and North American Seminar, and the 2019 Global Education Symposium. UNC World View is extremely proud of her achievements in global education and congratulates her on this award.
