United States in the World: Preparing Our Next Generation of Global Leaders

The UNC World View Global Education Leaders Cohort is a highly selective body of educational K-12 and community college leaders committed to their own professional development. Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of a global education in creating a collaborative, economically competitive, just, and safer world. The leaders cohort will convene virtually for 90 minutes from January-March 2023 and in person in Chapel Hill April in 2023. All sessions will be an intensive examination of global issues that impact faculty, staff and most importantly students and their communities. During the meeting time, UNC faculty and international experts will provide participants with their global expertise and allow time for robust discussion. The Global Education Leaders Cohort will collectively explore strategies to support global education at their respective institutions. Readings will be provided prior to monthly meetings. Space is limited.

All meetings, except for April 13, 2023, will be held virtually via Zoom. Zoom links will be provided prior to the meeting date.
